WAV to MP3

This free WAV to MP3 converter compresses large uncompressed WAV audio into small, universally supported MP3 files you can play anywhere. It uses an in-page media engine with no file-size limit — unlike upload-based converters that cap free use at around 1 GB.

Unlike most online converters, it gives you full control: pick a variable-bitrate preset (V0–V4) or a constant bitrate from 64 to 320 kbps, set the sample rate and channels, normalize loudness to broadcast standard (EBU R128), trim to just the part you want, add fade in/out, adjust the volume, or even reverse the audio.
