Quick reference: 1 litre = 1000 mL = 1 cubic decimetre. 1 US gallon = 3.785 L = 4 US quarts = 128 US fluid ounces; 1 imperial gallon = 4.546 L = 1.201 US gallons. 1 US cup = 236.6 mL, 1 metric/UK cup ≈ 250/284 mL. A US tablespoon is 14.79 mL and a US teaspoon is 4.929 mL.
