Random String Generator

This free random string generator creates random strings of any length from the character types you choose — lowercase, uppercase, digits and symbols — or your own custom character set. Generate up to 10,000 at once, force every string to be unique, exclude look-alike characters (0/O, 1/l/I), or add a fixed prefix and suffix.

By default it uses your browser's cryptographically secure random source, so the output is genuinely unpredictable. Enter a seed to make a run exactly reproducible — the same seed and settings always produce the same strings, which is handy for tests and fixtures.
