IMEI Number Generator

Generate Luhn-valid IMEI numbers for testing.

These IMEIs pass the Luhn checksum and use real device TAC prefixes so they look authentic to validators. They are test numbers only — they do not belong to any real phone and cannot be used to activate service, unlock, or track a device.

This free IMEI number generator creates 15-digit IMEIs (and 16-digit IMEISV numbers) that pass the Luhn (mod-10) checksum real networks use to validate device identifiers. Pick a brand and model and each IMEI is built from an 8-digit Type Allocation Code (TAC) for that device — several are real, verified TACs and the rest use the brand's genuine reporting-body prefix — so the number matches the structure of a real handset. The last 6 digits (serial) are randomized and the check digit is computed correctly.

Built for developers and QA testers who need syntactically valid sample IMEIs for forms, device-registration flows, and MDM testing. Includes an inline validator so you can check any IMEI's checksum. These numbers are randomly generated for testing and do not correspond to any real phone — they carry no subscriber, cannot be activated, unlocked, blacklisted, or traced.
