This free frequency converter converts between hertz (Hz), kilohertz (kHz), megahertz (MHz), gigahertz (GHz), terahertz (THz), petahertz (PHz), revolutions per minute (RPM), revolutions per hour (RPH), beats per minute (BPM), radians per second, radians per minute and degrees per second — useful for audio, radio, telecom, mechanical rotation and physics. Beyond a plain From/To conversion it does what most single-purpose calculators don't: it shows the period (T = 1/f, auto-scaled from days down to femtoseconds), theangular frequency (ω = 2πf), thewavelength of an electromagnetic wave in vacuum (λ = c/f) and of a sound wave in 20 °C air (λ = 343 m·s⁻¹ / f), classifies the frequency into its radio / EM spectrum band(VLF through visible light), and names the nearest musical note (A4 = 440 Hz) with cents deviation. It also lists the value in every supported unit at once, lets you pick the decimal precision, and copies the result with one click.

Quick reference: 1 kHz = 1,000 Hz, 1 MHz = 1,000,000 Hz, 1 GHz = 1,000,000,000 Hz. To get the period in seconds, divide 1 by the frequency in hertz. To get angular frequency in radians per second, multiply the frequency in hertz by 2π. RPM ÷ 60 = Hz. Mains power is 50 Hz in Europe and 60 Hz in North America; concert pitch A is 440 Hz; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth run at 2.4 GHz.
